Celebrating a decade of collaboration

The Osteology Foundation once again contributed to the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Annual Meeting in Toronto. The occasion marked ten years of collaboration between the Osteology Foundation, the AAP, and the AAP Foundation.

On 15 October 2025, the Foundation hosted the joint Regeneration Symposium – “Tissue is the Issue”, bringing together leading experts to share the latest evidence, clinical insights, and innovations in soft- and hard-tissue regeneration.

A Decade of Partnership and Progress

In his opening remarks, Frank Schwarz, President of the Osteology Foundation, reflected on the success of this long-standing partnership and its contribution to advancing regenerative dentistry. Mia Geisinger, President of the AAP, and Lisa Masters, President of the AAP Foundation, also emphasised the importance of this enduring collaboration between the organisations.

The session was moderated by Purnima Kumar and Chris Richardson and drew a large audience despite being part of the pre-congress programme.
