Pamela K. McClain, D.D.S. has maintained a full time private practice in periodontics incorporating clinical research since 1987 and is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgical Dentistry at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. She also served as Research Professor at the University of Maryland Dental School, Department of Periodontics from 1994 - 2001. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists. She is a Past President of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and has been active on numerous committees with the AAP and other organizations including serving on the Council of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. She has received a number of prestigious awards for her research and other accomplishments. Dr. McClain lectures on a variety of topics in the United States and abroad and has published over 20 articles/chapters in professional journals and books.
