Gopu Sriram is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, with affiliate positions in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing. His research focuses on the application of cutting-edge technologies like microfluidic organ-on-chip and 3D bioprinting to develop novel approaches for understanding periodontal disease and developing novel therapeutic strategies. Further, by combining 3D bioprinting with artificial intelligence, his team develops novel strategies for fabricating personalized grafts for periodontal tissue regeneration. His passion for research and innovation at the interface of dentistry and biomedical engineering is reflected in publications in leading multidisciplinary journals such as Advanced Healthcare Materials, Biofabrication, Materials Today, Lab on a Chip, and Dental Materials.
