Introduction & Definition

The following Terms & Conditions apply to users of THE BOX who wish to register for the National Osteology Group Brasil, and thereby become members of this group. The National Osteology Group Brasil is a closed group hosted on THE BOX that provides opportunities for networking, discussions, and lectures.

The General Terms & Conditions for the use of THE BOX, as accepted upon registration for the online platform THE BOX, apply to the National Osteology Group Brasil as well.

Language

The official language used in the National Osteology Group Brasil is Portuguese (Brasil). Some contents and navigation may be provided in English.

Registration & Payment

To access the National Osteology Group Brasil, the user has to pay the annual subscription fee as stated in the online registration form. The annual subscription fee is subject to change. In this case the users will be notified.

Payment may only be made with credit card (MasterCard, Visa) or PayPal. Before making use of this service, it is recommended that the user enquires about the charges or fees payable for the use of the selected payment method.

The annual subscription fee will be billed in Swiss Francs (CHF). The amount in BRL finally billed by the user‘s bank, payment or credit card provider is subject to course changes and may vary slightly from the one stated on THE BOX (250 BRL) due to short-term fluctuations in the exchange rate and additional fees charged by the bank, payment or credit card provider. The exchange rate is adapted on a weekly basis in order to ensure as little fluctuation as possible. 

The credit card information supplied at the time of registration is processed by the payment gateway provider, and it not supplied to the Osteology Foundation. It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure that the information entered in the relevant fields is correct. It is recommended that you take and retain a copy of the transaction for record keeping purposes.

The user agrees, understands and confirms that his / her personal data and payment details over the internet may be susceptible to misuse, hacking, theft and / or fraud. Osteology Foundation as well as the service payment provider have no control over such matters, even though the payment service is processed via a secure website. Osteology Foundation does not accept or assume any liability in the event of such unauthorized interception, hacking or other unauthorized access to information provided by a user of the service.

Cancelation & Renewal

With registration and payment for the National Osteology Group Brasil, the user buys a group membership for one year, which includes access to the closed group on THE BOX, and access to all activities within this group for this period of time. The membership starts with the day of payment. The user will be notified by e-mail in good time prior to the end of the year, and requested to renew membership. The membership in the group can be cancelled at the end of the membership year by giving 2 weeks’ notice prior to the end of the year.

Content & Benefits

Users who have registered and paid for the National Osteology Group Brasil have access to the networking options within the group, discussions and monthly activities, such as webinars, videos and case presentations. Users also receive an annual certificate of their membership of the National Osteology Group including education hours. Membership is also a prerequisite for attending the annual meeting of the group. Additional benefits may apply and will be communicated in the discussion forum of the National Osteology Group Brasil.

Programme changes

The organisers cannot assume any liability for any changes to the programme and reserve the right to change the programme without notice at any time.

Changes to the Terms & Conditions

Osteology Foundation reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time and the current version will be that published on the Osteology Foundations website THE BOX at www.box.osteology.org.
